Co-organised by Weekend Upcycling Workshop, Dotted Collective & MingCha, this is a community workshop in Chinese art with a meaning behind.

Putting your palm on a Chinese calligraphy brush and sipping a soothing cup of tea, it takes you to somewhere you’ve longed for... to understand the essence of Chinese culture. But this is no traditional Chinese calligraphy and tea workshop, participants need to come in pairs of a grand-mother/father and grand-daughter/son to explore, collaborate, inspire and be inspired through the two traditional media (ink and tea) in a contemporary and creative manner.

Basic of calligraphy, handicraft and tea appreciation will be covered in the workshop as well as some elements of upcycling paper jamming and collaboration works. Joy, love, fun and memory fill up the air in the event.
